BJJ, also known as ‘Gracie Jiu-Jitsu’ is the martial arts style that became famous with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where Royce Gracie dominated much larger opponents in the early years of Mixed Martial Arts competition.

BJJ is great for juniors, as it allows them to defend themselves against larger bullies and gives them the confidence to stand up for themselves.  It also provides them with the opportunity to enter competitions if they wish. 

BJJ classes for our junior members are done with the gi (martial arts uniform and belt).   

We are the only ‘Gracie’ school on the Sunshine Coast – being under the Ryan Gracie banner with Professor Neil Owen (the only black belt on the Sunshine Coast) having trained under many of the legends in the sport. See the ‘About Us’ section for more information on Neil Owen.
